My SO told me she understood why I didn't feel comfortable going there she even agreed that she may not either. From what she told me he seems like a slight hot head. The last thing I want is a bullet coming my way.

HA. Went to school in Americus. It's an ok place. Wouldn't raise my kids there though.

Well that's a better setting than I was anticipating. That could be doable assuming he is the only one there who objects.

Still makes me feel awkward to be honest. Her mom may like me but still doesn't change much in my opinion.

This- since you think he may be a bit of a hothead. You can just be polite and say you appreciate the invite but that you and your lady would both feel more comfortable meeting out. You could even ask his opinion on what place would be good. Hopefully he'd respect that.

We eat at the station every trip...their flat iron is pretty dang good..those fried jalapeño cheese grits are AMAZING

You're too young to know how valuable my opinion can be. Good luck. You're going to hate yourself later for behaving this way in a relationship. You sound 14 compared to the way you'll sound at 30. Were you ready at 14 to know who you'll want to be with when you're 40? No. Your world will change a minimum of 5 times before then.
