What is a popular store in your town that you have never stepped foot into?
For me, it is Harbor Freight. Tools seem cheap and not lasting and I’ve heard bad reviews about their stuff.

Their little right angle grinders are great disposable grinders, just use name brand wheels on them.
I bought their scroll saw about 7 years ago, I’ve probably cut 4 sheets of 16 ga cr into tiny pieces with it and no telling how much maple and pine..... using top brand blades
And a electric hand shear that I’ve cut lots of metal with 0 problems.
Bought a rod roller, junk
Rebar bender, junk
50# anvil, junk

Harbor Freight is good for little stuff like clamps. You can get a lot of clamps for cheap there.
I won't buy their screws or most of their tools. I've bought an oscillating tool there, which is something I rarely use. It's so cheap I don't care if it breaks. It's gotten enough shite done that it was worth every penny.

This also applies to me.
My neighbor bought a pretty big wench from there for about $150... we'll see.

I’ve attempted to buy a hammer and a watch press from harbor freight. Both times the cashier dicked around with the person in front of me to the point I just sat my item down and walked out. Putting a bad or poorly trained cashier on the only register is just unacceptable.
