Outside of 2002, which was a monunentally glorious playoff series, you didn't get nearly as many moments out of our series with the kings than we did with the blazers. Really the blazers/kings/and spurs were going on at the same time

Nobody cares about made up rivalries involving the team that thinks they're important to the NBA.

My Grizz can't stay healthy at all this year.

Win 4 game road trip w/ back to back wins over GS and LAC

Gasol gets hurt

ZBo then has to get an ingrown toe nail surgery

Look good in beating Phoenix with production from back up bigs

Tony Allen injures hip against the Suns

Start off playing extremely well against the Clippers, but ZBo looks noticeably injured

Go up by 12 on an Ed Davis basket who looked unguardable against the Clippers and he turns his ankle no the play

Starting line up for the next game may end up:
PG - Mike Conley
SG - Jarryd Bayless
SF - Tayshaun Prince (Also banged up)
PF - Maybe Zbo, most likely Jon Leuer
C- Kosta Koufos

Most frustrating thing about all this is Conley is playing at an All-star level. I know going into the last night his assist to turnover ratio in the last 4 games was 43 assists to 4 turnovers.

Take it from a Spurs fan--it's better to be hurt early and healthy late, than the other way around.

Many a Spurs' playoff bid has been prematurely sunk by late-season injuries (the only exception being Duncan's injury late in the '05 season).

Even last year, Ginobili and Parker were gimpy going into the Finals. Not making excuses, but it does make a difference.
