Obviously both, but Lionel was sort of a hardass that just would not work with the new front office at all.
Joeger is a guy I think they were afraid to lose more than Lionel though.
Ed Davis played very well in Toronto, but Lionel refused to bring him off the bench.
Lionel lost us the WCF though.

id like to throw us getting sweeped by dallas in 2011 in the ring for strange sweeps. we had late leads in games 1 and 3 and then you had game 4 where ive never seen a team be as unconsciously hot. frick that whole title run was crazy

Nah I still have a semester down here left and I can't quite get the old man to pull the plug on some season tickets.
I think once I move back we will try to get some down there though.
