not sure if still a thing or a big thing in general, I dont listen to phish or go to their shows. But I guess Chinese lanterns direct you to where some stuff can be had. The Alpharetta cops send up lanterns and as well as hide and raid where people are lighting their own

I have never noticed that. Maybe just some people that weekend to mark their territory.

Does anyone remember the first season of the office when Michael freaks out because he thought he smoked weed at a Sade concert. Ryan says something along the lines of he doesnt think Michael has ever done drugs because he doesnt think anyone has ever offered them to him.

I don't run after tanks anymore, someone was slinging baloons before Oak Mountain in the middle of the lot last year right next to our car. I told him that probably wasn't a good idea here. He laughed at me and got arrested 15 minutes later.

Oak Mountain show used to be so much fun until the infamous Operation Don't Panic in 2002. Not sure what triggered the cops, but they were everywhere that year and it harshed the normal lot mellow. Total bummer.

Ya, you just gotta be careful now. No all day lot excursions. I just rolled up, parked, and walked inside so I didn't get busted for my pots a couple years ago when they played there. Took long enough to watch that tank guy get busted and that was all the encouragment I needed to get inside the venue.

pretty sure the lanterns were for that mostly and other stuff as well.
They even found 2 tanks at the Marriott nearby, didnt realize what they were at first

We hung in the lot for Phish a couple of years ago and didn't see many cops. One was walking around just laughing at everyone. We were out there for a couple of hours probably.
I didn't have any drugs on me though, so I wasn't too concerned.
