We could start by having AD's and coaches taking massive pay cuts. They will still be rich.

I get what you're saying and they do make an obscene amount of money. But, without fall sports, it wouldn't even be a drop in the bucket. There are a lot of figures in the article. I just quoted a few of the points made that related to some of the things being discussed on this board lately.

So, that’s also the places where “rebels” of any cause are the loudest/stand out the most

No, California is just filled with entitled people. Same with Florida. Of course that is where most of the videos come from.

California has had a hard time enforcing the mask rule. They certainly have a lot of people who are very compliant with the rules but they have tens of millions who are not and have been making the news pretty much since this began in about every way imaginable in terms of large crowds ignoring all the safety measures.

Orange County, for example, just passed a controversial "back to school" directive for their schools that includes no mandate for masks or social distancing.

California is a good example of how hard it is to enforce the mask rules if people don't go along but they're not a good example of their effectiveness, especially Southern California.

The same people who insist the protests have nothing to do with the increase in cases no doubt

Wrong, let the virus runs it’s course and be over sooner than later Healthy people shake it out off in a day or 5. But they shake it off, the shite the news won’t tell you!

That's actually shocking.

How is that shocking to you? Alabama incurred $185 million in expenses last year. If there's no football, the unfunded expenses will probably be significantly more than ISU. 10 schools in the SEC spent over $130 million. ISU spent a total of $95 million.
