On the Subject of Magic

From time to time I like to listen to the lectures of a man named Manly P. Hall. If you have heard of this man before, this thread may not be for you. I'm mostly creating this thread for those who haven't heard this man speak before.
Manly P. Hall is one of the more brilliant minds of the modern era, IMO. The lecture I'm going to link at the bottom here is his talk on magic and Earth energies. Well worth a listen if you have 45 minutes to spare.
Awhile back I ran across a rather peculiar theory on the phenomena of consciousness. The presenter was arguing that consciousness exists anywhere there is information exchange. Which means that literally everything has some measure of consciousness. Even rocks. Why rocks? Because when a rock is weathered by rain there is information exchange. Your cell phone, according to this thinking, will actually have a fair amount of consciousness.
It brings to mind the idea of elemental beings. Fire, for instance. When you create a bonfire, you are creating a very rapid process of information exchange as the wood you are burning is transformed and is released into the atmosphere. These elements can be manipulated and harnessed as a tool for someone with sufficient knowledge of these things.
Of course, that could all be bunk, but from my experience this is not so. The systems of magic are too complex and too pervasive to not have basis in reality, IMO. The Bible tells us that both Jesus and Peter walked on water. And that Jesus raised the dead. Well, as it turns out these things have been reported to be true in other cultures around the world. The Chinese, for instance, have many stories of ordinary people raising the dead. Of curing illness. Of being able to fly. To diagnose illness in the body simply glancing at someone. X-ray vision. On and on and on.
The way this all works, IMO, is that there is another dimension that exists parralel to this one and we all exist there as well as here. THERE exist all the energies that shape the world you see in front of you right now. Now normally you have no interaction with this other dimension, therefore you cannot manipulate this world. However, with the proper frame of mind, and through training, we can interface with the other dimension through our body's chakra system (the chakras aren't really tangible parts of your existing body, but instead connection points to this other realm) and affect change in our physical world.
Anyways, I'm rambling. I'm throwing this thread together without much forethought. I have much to say on this subject for those interested.
Here is Manly P. Hall talking magic and Earth energies. Enjoy Yalls day!

As they Acapella'd in Pitch Perfect.... I've got the magic in me.

Someone said it well one time when they said that while we may understand the processes involved in chemistry, the action itself is still magical.

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

Arthur C. Clarke, right? He is correct.
But the magic I speak of requires no technology.

Is Manly an Alabama grad? Much respect for that guy. What an intellect!

I believe. In 1984 we had coach Joe Morrison. The 2001 entrance started. Fire ant defense. The album, old black magic. I’ll never forget that year.
Yeah we blew it at navy. If not for that, nat champs.
But we did beat..... Florida state, Pitt, ND, GA, Clemson, Michigan, the other USC, and the rest. That was in the othe teams heyday. So yeah. I believe.

Manly Palmer Hall was a Canadian-born author, lecturer, astrologer and mystic.
Nope. Not interested.

Your loss, man. Most of what he talks about is history. He is as sharp as they come.
I've always found it beneficial to approach problems from all angles (philosophical problems, mind you), and try and find a middle path that makes sense of all available input.
Manly is on the right track.

I'm not surprised by this. Rhianna (I think. I don't really keep up with pop culture that much) wrote a song called Umbrella? Anyways, for the entire time it charted at #1 in the UK, the UK was experiencing their wettest summer on record.
The US Gov has been very interested in these matters as well and this information dovetails directly into my Wormholes, Stargates, and Time Travel thread.
The projects outlined in that thread were headed by a group of guys called The Aviary. One of their guys, as I mentioned in the other thread, is one Col. Michael Aquino.

He is the founder of the Church of Set. It is an offshoot of the Church of Satan. Hand on the Bible. And he actually frickin looks like that in his military uniform.

He is a sorcerer. He is also one of the world's foremost experts on psychological warfare. Because, again, he is a sorcerer and that is what sorcerers do. They bewitch the mind, primarily.
Long story short. It seems to be real.

So why hasn't he been burnt at the stake?

Because we can't do that anymore. It isn't civilized.

Timelines are getting all wonky.

Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

If there’s a parallel dimension, that we are able to interact with, and I get my parallel self to rub one out for me, is that being gay or masterbation? These are the real important questions that need answers imo.

Also, if I find a parallel me that is female and we have sex, is that gay, straight, incest, or fancy masturbation?
