You're welcome.

Here's another one that lays out the scenarios as well.

We still have many outs, which is some consolation after the most painful draw I could imagine. If you told me we'd have 4 pts after the first two games like two weeks ago I would have been thrilled. Today, not so much.

Scenarios for today:
Brazil advance with a win, draw, or Croatian loss.

Mexico through with a win or draw.

Croatia advance with a win or draw and Brazil loss on GD.

Group B is finished with the Netherlands and Chile already advancing.

I don't see Mexico stopping Croatia, they had better play their actual game and not try to sit on the ball.

Mexico can't just sit back against a good side that practically must win to advance. I agree, they must play their game and attack because a 0-0 draw ain't happening today.

Exactly this.

If you let the Croatians wander around on your side of the field for 60 minutes, you gonna have a bad time.

Nice...

Eastern European broads are generally pretty hot, but come from the shitholes of Europe. Its like West Virgina with less coal and more ethnic cleansing. Womens always appreciated in this thread though.

To expand on the Mex/Croatia game: the story of the game should play out on the flanks imo. In side - outside - cross. Make magic Luka Modric

I've changed.my tune on soccer, it's actually kinda of enjoyable. I just need to watch it more consistently and closely

I really like cheering for the US. I enjoy the tense moments that soccer provides but I find it difficult to get into a team, such as any of the premier teams, unless I grew up cheering for them. I'd watch some of those games but I don't think I could ever get as invested as I am with America. Oh and frick Portugal.

I rarely focus on single players but I usually choose a team based on the teamwork that they employ. I like, smart, finesse teams but then of course I also like the sloppy, counterattack at all costs types of teams.

Also, Portugal probably won't make it.

The only one who has any real chance at this point of spoiling our hopes and dreams.......

Sigh.......

Is Ghana.

It's hard to just grasp a team and follow them. Early starts, somewhat limited TV access (though it's significantly better than four years ago), and lack of media coverage here make it hard to follow when you have no skin the game. The best way to do it is find a player you like and root for their team. The natural outlet for Americans would be Tim Howard and Everton in the EPL. Jermaine Jones plays for Stoke, but they aren't exactly a joy to watch.

I wish Champions League action was more accessible and didn't come on Tues/Wed afternoon. Set up for Euro primetime but smack in the middle of the fricking day here. That's the best soccer you'll find period.

Which premier team is sloppy and aggressive. Who plays with reckless abandon. I want to follow them.

You should follow City.

Big names. Champions League access. Very positive play. They are fun to watch.

Not too sure about the Premier, and I know people hate Mexican soccer but there's a team called "Atlas" who just gives zero fricks.

Most Mexican soccer at the local level is crazy and unorthodox.

Doubt you'll find much of that at the Premier League. Not exactly chance takers.

Unfortunately it's inaccessible like the majority of soccer from around the world.

I can watch most of the Premier League without a problem here. The US? Maybe a bit more difficult.

im still sick over last night. 89 minutes of the greatest soccer the U.S has played. One fricking 8 year old type clearence and then a dick sucking bitch hitting a perfect cross in extra time that shouldn't have even been that much and we end up with a draw.

either way I think the anti jurgy stuff should die down. Its clear he has made great strides with this team and we will only get better. Soon FIFA will pay for their bullshite when we shove our American cocks down their throats and force them to swallow the freedom as we win the world cup
