It'll be back for Thursday, right?
And I have to work for the first part of the day, so I'll miss one game in the morning. :(

Red card for Italy, this game just got really interesting. Go Uruguay!

wow, England and Italy out in Group D, 2 South American countries in.
Other than Holland and France, European teams are getting killed in South American soil.

It will, but I'm taking a few hours off to watch it at home.

This is -exactly- why Germany is gonna play it soft and safe this week. All Italy needed was a draw, and they kept pushing and getting tough with the opposition and it may have very well cost them the World Cup.

So I'm watching Italy-Uruguay, and I can't believe Suarez just BIT that Italian player! Bit him! And the ref didn't see it, so no red card. And Uruguay scored just a minute later. That's the ultimate cheap shot, especially since Suarez was suspended for several games this season for biting someone else! Serious BS. And now unless Italy scores fast, they're done. Sucks.

That's not the first guy Suarez has bitten in his career.

In defense of Suarez, if anyone needed to be bitten it was that guy.

Who was it?
Giolini? Something like that.

Ciolini - an Italian defender, really good player. I'm sure they'd been mixing it up all game, but biting someone?!?
That could get Suarez thrown out for the rest of the World Cup. FIFA is going to be all over that.

Not just that, but Germany won't have a team that really wants to get tough either like Uruguay was. Both Germany and the USA would be happy to just play a game of kick ball for 90 minutes.

Exactly. Neither team is going to risk yellow cards, neither team is going to risk not advancing and Germany has a -comfortable- goal differential that will get them the win.
Like I've said a thousand times now, it'll be one boring soccer match with offense being carried out by maybe 2 forwards and a supporter.

Hopefully it does.

God damn it, Suarez, you stupid frick. We need you this year and now you go and jeopardize our title chances.
It's not the second guy, either.

They just said this is the 3rd time he's bitten someone, apparently. In the various replays, that's sure what it looks like. And when he got up he was checking his teeth to see if they were all still there.
Hope they throw his arse out.

And sorry, I just felt like touching on this as well:
We only need to tie to advance, so we're not going to go wild, and they're definitely not going to go wild because a tie ensures that they win the group anyway.
We're just glad to advance.
