Ill invite you to the next one as long as you don't bring your husband and as long as you cook food afterwards and as long as you look like Natalie portman.

Game 2 tonight
Bunch of rumors on the interwebz saying Derrick Rose may suit up for game 3.

He needs to nut up and go tonight if he can suit up for game 3

Him dressing out and going through warmups doesn't mean he will even play. But I agree with what you're saying.
Just giving the team 12-15 minutes in 3-4 minute spurts would help fire the rest of the team up.

I mean Hinrich and Deng both are down and Rose knows better than anyone that there may not be a next year. Got to try to win when you can.

Eh, I can understand him not feeling comfortable enough to play.

I understand that too but counting on being able to win next year has proven to be a bad idea. No better time than the present especially considering he doesn't have to start just give quality minutes.

I agree with you and Slope.
It's a shitty situation.
I'm somewhere in the middle. I want him back becasue we are a better team with him. But I also know that he is our franchise player for the next decade and if he comes back before he is ready and further injures himself, then we'll be screwed for two seasons instead of just one.

I don't think that's what he's doing. I think he really wants to come back as soon as he feels like he's ready. I just feel like if he comes back too soon and re-injures himself, it would be devastating to his psyche.
I love Derrick Rose and I want to see him play for many, many years.

I'm still bitter at Rose for the pain he caused Memphis.

If that's the case shut it down. Don't waffle all the god damn time. But this back and forth is aggravating.

I'm not. I've always been a fan of Memphis, but I didn't go there so I don't hold any ill will to him for that. I'm bitter at the NCAA for clearing him, then unclearing him.
That team was probably the most exciting and fun team to watch in the last 20 years of college basketball.

It's like half his brain is telling him he's ready and the other half is telling him that if he plays too soon, his leg will fall off.
