I can't even imagine. I haven't been alive for any Lakers game 7 losses but I am pretty beat up over this loss and Im not even a Spurs fan.
I'm pretty broken up over it, I'm not even gonna front

Not mad, just sad. Really wanted that 5th ring in perhaps Timmy's final Finals run.

I will say, I've gained a newfound respect for the Spurs and I won't forget it. Great season and a great series

Wut? Larry Bird and Magic Johnson were always good friends. They don't hate each other at all.

now they are. but they werent when they were playing. larry has said himself that his dislike of the lakers and magic was where he found his inner motivation

9 championships between the two since 99, and they had to get through each other most of the time. the rivalry in my mind comes from a place of respect. i respect the spurs and im willing to give pop, duncan, etc their due. whereas i come from a place of pure unadulterated hate when it comes to boston. there is always an extenuating circumstance whenever they accomplish anything....no matter what. hell it just took me this past year or 2 to give doc his credit as one of the best coaches in the league

in case you havent made your way over to rivalries. its an absolute shite show right now with the thread bumping

I hear ya. I hate the mavs, but respect the lakers.
Happy to have been able to appreciate Duncan and Bryant in their primes.

Did you see Duncan's post game?? It was heartbreaking and difficult to watch. You could tell how devastated he was

Nearly every question asked has been terrible and awkward.

heres the thing. while i wanted miami to win, i didnt want to see duncan miss a shot that he hits 10 times out of 10 in the pivotal moment of the game. like for how much i will flame my girl and spur fan friends, i wont flame about that. that actually hurt me to watch and i generally am never sympathetic to anything about the spurs
