what do you think about the series going forward? OKC seems to match up well at full strength. While you all seem to match up favorably against Miami.

I think we can get game 4 if we play our game and execute better. Starting with Parker.
But you're right. OKC does match up well with us. Any future games the Spurs win won't be blowouts IMO.
If we can beat OKC I think we'll be well battle tested for MIA, but we have to finish the Thunder first of course
Spurs in 6. Best case scenario we can hope for IMO.

you can hope for. I want the heat to get another title so I've found myself pulling for the thunder even though I don't like most of them.

Honestly, I didn't expect to win this game even with Ibaka out. There was too much on the line for the Thunder and they had to come out and give it everything.
The Spurs were missing a lot of wide open looks, including all of Diaw's threes and a lot of Parker 2-point jumpers. If the Spurs up their rebounding (Kawhi in particular) and decrease their fouls while getting the same looks, then I think they can come out of Game 4 with a W.

the heat and LeBron need to go ahead and get theirs out of the way before the pels start the takeover.

Always end up bandwagoning the team that gives you the path of least resistance.

ya I know, just messing around with tbird. I'm bandwagoning the heat just because I want to see them pull off the three peat.
Doesn't look like the pacers are going to put up too much more resistance. Real big game tonight, hopefully the west will go 7 so we get at least one interesting series.

You know my childhood sports heroes on the hardwood were David Robinson and Reggie Miller

Was really hoping for a Spurs/Pacers Finals this year just like I was in 1999 and last year, but alas, it looks like the West champ will have to face MIA once again.

This has been a running schtick with us for what, over a year now?

This is the pivotal game of the series. Gotta hope Parker and Kawhi leave it all out there.

I heartily agree. One of the few times I've ever said that about a game 4, but this series is rife with unusual circumstances.
Parker has to be in attack mode all night. Kawhi MUST stay out of foul trouble.

its been going on ever since I discovered the spurs anti american hiring practices.
Also I was a huge Reggie Miller fan as a youngun.
big game tonight, hoping serge's athleticism continues to make the spurs think twice before putting up interior shots.
