Continually writing 30-300 page papers makes for a habit of lots, and lots, and lots of rough drafts

I do great work in the clutch but when I have no pressure on me I dont grind over every little piece of the paper. I just let the words flow and spend very little time editing it. I actually really like writing papers. The only part i hate is making up the works cited page, but I think that goes back to high school and actually having to manually do the works cited.

Then you, sir, are close to a prodigy. I thought I was a good writer when I was in undergrad. Boy, I was so freaking wrong.

I really wish almost all test were actually essay test. I feel like that actually shows what you know. It also is more practical for the real world because it shows application of the knowledge.

Same. Drives wifey wild (she's working on her 2nd draft right now, with plans for a 3rd), while I just shoot straight from the hip from the word go.

I've been "done" since yesterday, just been tweaking formatting and such

Same here.

This paper we had to submit an annotated bibliography, too

I write a outline highlighting points as my rough drafts. Then if the teacher forces a rough draft ill do it the night before. I prefer just outlining and going from that.

the funny part is that now with easy bib and shite it takes no time at all to do the works cited but it still bugs me on every paper.

I agree but when I put word to page I almost have to ramble to make what I want to say coherent. I have to use analogies to make my points. I'm telling y'all my brain is a sacary place to be. It dosen't function like a normal brain

I don't even do outlines. Speeches or papers I'm just better going off the cuff

I always feel so constricted with outlines. Kinda like WCA was saying, I do my best work when I'm unstructured and just chasing my thoughts.

The CC board is a cesspool of absolute bullshite right now and Chicken and the admins are deleting anything that doesn't fit the "HE GONE HUR DUR" narrative to drive ad revenue and clicks.

But by God, don't let someone with a script A post "Why, yes, Tony Brown will be taking an OV to Tuscaloosa this weekend" or you'll get RA'd to hell and banned.

This ENTIRE site has gone to shite over the last few weeks.

Again, when Saban stays I am going to be SUCH a snotty, bratty, bitch about it.

Y'all just THINK you've seen me bitchy. Boys, I got reserve tanks of bitchiness that are just waiting and ready.

The only thing id like better than a essay test would be some sort of verbal test. Im even better at talking it out than writing. I love doing presentations in class as long as its not a group thing.

It's true try starting a thread about how happy LSU fans are about the rumors and see how long it lasts
