I grew up in the Jordan era and loved watching him play and he was/is the greatest, but I will say this about James... We've never seen anything like him before. Probably the most complete bball player ever.

Today, players in the NBA are much better then they were when MJ was playing.. so there's that

If Lebron jacked up more shots each game he would win the MVP. I guess I put a lot more stock into FG% then everyone else, but Lebron is the best player in the NBA by a good margin. Everyone will see as we get closer to the playoffs. Lebron needs to be more worried about the Pacers right now though.

Are you serious? He is the most hated player in the league probably.

MVP is wide open right now. Give the slight edge to KD right now, but it's going to get interesting in these last couple months.

Talent is about the same, but the competition of SF in the league now is WAY better than the competition at SG during Jordan's years. Only SG I can think of during his time is Clyde Drexler and maybe Reggie Miller (I'm thinking as far as matching up with Jordan).

Dude KD was a part of the 50-40-90 club last season and has a chance to do it again this season. Get out of here with that bs.

Probably the case but the best player doesn't equal MVP. Ask Jordan.

Are you serious? This isn't 2010 anymore. LeBron is loved.

Look at this thread. He is not near as hated on by the media, but the public still hates him.

Literally the only person in this thread that has said they hate him is RebelGator. Everyone else is just stating facts

In my mind he'll never erase his pathetic showing in the 2011 Finals. I remember 5 games into the series he had scored 19 total points in all 5 4th qtrs combined.

Best NBA Finals run of all time. Dirk is the mother fricking man. It still amazes me how people under rate what exactly happened that year.
