It’s tough to lose a best friend. Mine died on 12/2/12. His 41st birthday would have been this past Friday. I still think about him often.
He was always willing to listen, he did not judge me but always told me the truth, and he always had good advice. I’m still close with his family.

One of my friends fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the road into a tree in 2009. I was in Tuscaloosa when I found out. It was the morning of the SC/Bama game.
Surreal day. We hauled arse back to Columbia right after the game. His job had overworked him and a lot of his responsibilities included driving. They said it’s likely he never even woke up. A foot to the left or right and he’d still be with us.

Sorry to hear this news. You guys know my wife passed away in June 2017. Death is something I have dealt with almost on a daily basis, but now I just flat out despise it.
Herman, feel for you. Anniversary date is always a bummer, but focus on the good, get through this day and keep it going.

Sorry for your loss Frisco. I can't even begin to fathom losing my best friend. We've been friends since middle school, over 20 years. Love the dude and would do anything for him without hesitation.

This summer will be 6 years since my best friend died. We were barely 21. Not a day goes by I don't think of him.

We lost my brother almost 22 years ago and while the pain has subsided a over time, it is still something that you hold onto and wonder what life would be like for him today. I am sorry for your loss.
