I hear you. They'll change to laughs and good thoughts in time. It takes a bit.. but only the good things and good times will be remembered.

fricking christ dude, what the frick. First time I ever met Coastie was at 6am on the grounds. Crazy bitch was already drinking Jager and red bull. She was hardcore. This has got me fricked up :(

Those 20+ page LLOTOT threads were some of the greatest ever. Never failed to provide entertainment, hilarity and sometimes ended up devolving into a downright bizarre arena all its own. I miss those.
When I first joined, like I mentioned earlier I posted on tRant and on tOTL boards. tOTL in particular was brutal for a female newbie...and it was the other females that made it that way far more than the guys. It was literally like a shark tank and a new female on the scene was like chumming the water. You had to prove that you could stand your ground, not be intimidated, and give just as good as you got before you "earned" acceptance. I don't think it's anything like what it used to be now...not even close. But Coastie was different. She was nice and welcoming from the get-go and that meant the world to me.
When I was still learning everyone's screennames, and especially until I learned that she was who they were referring to when they mentioned "Coastie", I always associated the Purple and Gold lips avi with the cool chick who was nice. That is still one of my all-time favorite avis.
And Semo...I love your idea about a remembrance thread for her so that we can share our memories and maybe links to some of our favorite threads with each other. You mentioned Sunday? I'll be here for sure. Whenever it is, I'll make time to be here for it.
I saw where you sent messages to Belle and a couple others..did you send a message to Cat? I can do that if you haven't already.

Shoulda seen 2009-2011 IM threads. There were nightly shooting the shite threads with everyone just kicking back and getting along, before the off topic board and everyone getting along. A lot of good times. I don't post too much really anymore, but keep in touch with who means something to me from them. As with real life, there is always discord and bickering.. but all in all.. they resulted in a lot of IRL friendships. As evidenced by the responses tonight.
I was going to wait til morning to text Bella. I don't have Cat's contact.
