The only thing Gates sauces unless you ask them to is the ribs. Everything else comes with no sauce.

Lol @ all the sauce on it

Gates likes to be generous w/ their portion sizes, and don't really factor in presentation to their food. That's brisket, and by looking at the smoke ring you tell it will be both tender, and moist.

My favorite pulled pork sandwich has been from Bozo's in Mason, TN.

You can't even tell what it is through all the sauce and shite. Also french fries with BBQ? Jesus

I was going to swing by Gates when I was in KC a few weeks ago and get a sandwich, the choices were beef, turkey, and ham. I decided to not try their BBQ.
Leave the BBQ to Memphis and the Carolina's, let Texas do the beef.

Burnt Ends from Gates notice no sauce, the pictures I selected everyone seems to like their sauce

My Moms side of the family is from Arlington/Lakeland and whenever we would come over from Little Rock they would take us to Bozo's. I couldnt stand the rocky-top crap all over the place but the BBQ was good.
First time I've heard someone mention Bozo's.

Yeah, when I went to Arthur Bryant's I'm pretty sure they put the sauce on the side of my burnt ends sandwich. I probably asked for it that way though as I don't like a lot of sauce on my BBQ sandwiches and I wasn't sure how they did it.

Let's all agree to disagree about what's the best BBQ, and agree that the OP is terribly wrong that mizzou has the best BBQ.

If you go to #6 which is Big Bob Gibson's in Decatur,Al., you can park your car there, and walk down 6th Ave. a little ways, and get some real BBQ at Whitt's.Everything is great, but at least try, The BBQ turkey. You won't believe what you are tasting.
