I'm pretty damn liberal and tolerant. But don't act intolerant while preaching tolerance. But our societies expectation of instant gratification is unrealistic when it comes to cultural changes.

Each generation has been more tolerant to differences than the last. But you're never going to change an older persons views through lecturing. You just teach them to hide their true beliefs, and it's a big reason why Trump unexpectedly won the election.

Auburn University senior Christine Cameron says she was speaking to a friend from her hometown when she decided to hold a protest an campus. The reason — the friend, who was born in Iran, told her because of the Executive Order, his father was unable to see him graduate.

Cameron said that is when things hit home for her.

As a result, she is planning to hold a peaceful protest on Auburn’s Haley Concourse Thursday from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m.

NOTE: zero in the news today and it supposedly happened yesterday. My guess is that it is one or two people holding a sign.

Yeah, I had imagined this as much like the "huge" protest parade Tommy Tuberville fans had for him after he resigned.

About 20 people showed up.

P.S. I think the Princeton Review, in their "political" grades in their publication, consistently puts Auburn somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun.

Other than a stink bomb, I'm not sure either.

It was a joke, it's supposed to be absurd.

Literally every public university will have some kind of socialist/whiny/butthurt/spoiled entitled brat protest on their campus this year.

College students are delusional fricking idiots in general, it's not unique to Auburn or Mizzou.

It's very delusion to be disenchanted with a system that is 19 trillion in debt, with large gaps between have's and have nots that has almost nothing to do with work ethic. With so many things that make zero sense. Very delusion of them.

Our world is a joke.

Young people reacting the way they do is in part thanks to the programming they receive from the power structure that wants to remain in power.

But the fundamental decision to rebel is the right one.

You think a single one of these butthurt crybabies gives a frick about the national debt?

They want what the haves have without having to do what the haves did to get what they have. It's envious butthurt, nothing more. If they devoted half the energy they spend on bitching about the wealthy to actually acquiring wealth, they'd be wealthy themselves.

They demand that their student loans should be forgiven because they can't find a well paying job with their degree in German Polka History or Gender Studies.

Poor babies, going in debt dicking off in college for 4 years chasing a worthless degree didn't yield the same results as chasing a degree in something marketable while working graveyard shifts at Sam's club to cash flow school? NO frickING shite.

It requires zero effort to be a butthurt loser and complain about those that have what you want, but winning requires sacrifice and diligence.

I'm not saying anything they do is well thought out.

I'm sure some are in-tune with the real shite, like the nat'l debt.

But most people that show up for marches and protest are dumb-fricks, just like most of the people who aren't marching and protesting.

Bruh... you realize that Athens is by far the most liberal SEC town, right? Yall voted for Hillary at a much higher clip than anybody else, even Columbia, MO. Auburn is one of the few SEC towns that voted majority for Trump. Athens has always been a southern haven for far left radicals.

Spring graduation is over 90 days from now?

And I saw that as being about 99% against trumps immigration policies. We already have the laws on the books. Let's enforce them and be done with it.
