Again - foolish to the point of a 2 year old's blabbering.

You ever walked the Georgia section of the A.T? You know, the one that goes from Georgia to Maine?

Of course you haven't. If you had, you'd know it is regarded by many as one of the more difficult and rugged sections of the whole trail.

They ain't the Rockies - but hills my arse.

What, that New Orleans is a nice place to live?

World class food. Always something to do (Mardi Gras, Festival Season, Pro Sports, Music Festivals, ect). On a hub of commerce in the United States. A growing young professional population. A unique culture.

Yeah, such a shithole.

No.

You can go ahead and claim Swamp People, Duck Dynasty, My Big Redneck Vacation, Cajun Pawn Stars, Cajun Justice and all of the other trashy redneck shows filmed there too.

Me and some buddies used to go up to Clayton every year. His grandpa had a cabin up there. Nice, but I have been around in the past 10 years and have found way better parts of the Appalachians. WV is better and thats saying something. Maybe not the people but much prettier and better fly fishing.

I never said it was a shithole. I just said I liked Georgia better. I'm not interested in any of those things except pro sports and the restaurants, which can be found nearly everywhere.

I also enjoy his hills comment. He mentions states like Kentucky and West Virginia, which is interesting since Georgia's highest mountains are higher than any in Kentucky and less than 100 feet below West Virginia's highest point.

Not to mention that Georgia's highest point isn't even one of the best spots to enjoy the mountains in Georgia IMO.

If you think Louisiana is better that is fine, but saying Georgia is the worst spot in the Appalachians makes you seem petty.

Full disclosure, I love New Orleans and would rather live there than Atlanta.

cat was implying that new orleans sucks because of black people, typical racist yankee.

New Orleans sucks so much that is why it has hosted so many superbowls, has a major bowl game in it, host final fours, and now multiple NBA all-star games.

Also the two best music festivals in the country happen in New Orleans.

Golf Waterfall Country Club near Clayton off Lake Burton.

God's country, imo.

But that doesn't mean the rest of the Appalachians suck, that's for sure. I like the whole range, with my favorite probably being around Blowing Rock, NC.

I said Georgia wins this. Mountains plus a major city like Atlanta are too much.

Cat wouldn't know how to handle to the laid back culture of New Orleans. She posts with tons of that WASPy uptightness. That's probably the reason for her hate.

You can find great restaurants anywhere. That's not a ludicrous statement. And I'm sure native Louisianians eat at Commander's Palace every night and never go to BWW.

You can not find the number and variety of restaurants in New Orleans. Throw in the little shacks with fresh seafood and old swampy motherfrickers fixing up some down home cooking and you got a pretty unique mix.
