Winter sucks, but it’s better than the scorching heat of summer.

Low 60s is shorts and tshirt weather.

Just got my charcoal going. About to grill steaks.

We have about 1/2 inch, but its getting harder. Current forecast is 8-12 tonight and 1-3 tomorrow. Its about 14 degrees right now.

Horse farms behind my house put the horses in the barn about 3 hours ago when the snow initially started. I imagine they will stay in there for 36 hours

Had to pull the hay trailer down the road I live on with the tractor because the drifts on the north half were too high for the truck. Critters were glad to see the hay, though they didn’t really need more put out. Didn’t know what the next day or two are going to bring so put it out today. Always amazes me that shelter is available but they don’t voluntarily go inside.

That's Florida winters.

Or out on the west coast. One thing I miss about San Jose is the weather. In the summer rarely gets above 85 and in the winter rarely gets below 60 for highs. And the humidity is low, so it's even more pleasant than the temps suggest.

Cant remember what year it was but a few years ago we had something stupid like a 80 degree swing in 24 hours. You dress for everything here.

Back in my roughnecking days in the winter we would keep our beer down at the water pump that fed the rig and then pick it up on our way home. When the ponds were iced over it sure made that beer good and cold.

Same.

My comfort zone has gotten to be between 68 and 72.

Though I do hate extreme heat more.

I bet I have 30 hoodies. Love the weather where I can wear them and having an extra pocket.

When I would work over in Europe I would give my European coworkers if I saw one of them carrying a purse on their shoulder I would say "Hey you need to buy set of heals to go with that purse !!"
They would yell IT'S A SATCHEL !! I told one of them grandma use to give me gum and candy out of her purse just like that when we
were in church.

Used to have the house at 64 degrees near round

As you get older the bones need more heat to function.

That said I was out in a t-shirt and flip flops in near zero weather this week with the hounds, picking up limbs the ice took down, and digging out the autos.

No real dog in the fight (that Philly drug company has OD'ed more folks in Eastern Kentucky than drugs coming across the border), but illegal folks just do the jobs native Americans no longer will. I cleared my driveway with a bucket loader but the other folks in the neighborhood had 9 brown folks pile out of the cab of a single pickup truck armed with only shovels and cleared snow and solid ice like a pack of angry beavers. If they want to work, let em! Not like they are taking jobs from the lazy arse kids in da hood who won't get off their video games and cell phones.
