Is it just me or is it satisfying to mow your own lawn? Then sitting out on the patio and having drinks, whilst admiring your lawn

Personally, I just smoke weed and pay to have mine done.

I think it has more to do with peace of mind with mother nature.

Away from wife and kids, daydreaming and nature.

It's more satisfying to see Jesus cutting your grass while you sit on your deck after working all week.

I do enjoy seeing it cut after the crew leaves.

Yep, I bought a fancy Ryobi electric rider just for that Pio. Its cool though that I can mow in reverse, have cruise control and bluetooth. It made cutting the grass fun again.

Pour a bourbon, take off your shoes and walk on it before sitting on the patio.

I feel bad for you if mowing the lawn does this much for you

I'm pretty sure that you shouldn't.

It is enjoyable watching the stepson mow the grass. Lemonade tastes exceptionally good while lounging in the Hammock yelling "Missed a spot! Get it right or you sleep in the shed."

Damn right!
Nothing like watching grass grow with a cold one!

When you have a job where you work hard but results are hard to see, it is satisfying to do a simple task like mowing the lawn where you can immediately see the impact of your work.

I have my rider set up where only I know how to start it.

If my wife ever figured out the peace and quiet I enjoy while mowing, when she’s stuck with the kids, she’d never let me mow again.

I agree, mowed yesterday. Kid down the street mows for $30/acre and I have 2 acres, but I enjoy getting out in the decent weather and listening to music and riding.

I wish I was mowing like 10 acres each week.
