I made a high B on my first speech that was far worse than my last one, and it's too late to drop without withdrawing now. I'm going to do whatever I have to do. I'm not having a good GPA fricked up over public fricking speaking during the summer. Yes I'm mad.

On a more pleasant topic, this Anchor Summer is pretty tasty.

Their Christmas beer is the best beer that they make.

He's like a fine wine; gets better with age. And yes, SVU is the best and my personal favorite as well. Law & Order was just the original and the start of it all.

Nights like this, are why I have 2000 songs on my iPhone along with 8 seasons of hilariously suggestive animated shows. Along with 5 movies.

Without any doubt. It's not even close. Their Christmas beer this past year was top notch as far as I'm concerned. One of my all time favorites.

I'm the same if I'm around people I don't know. But if I'm around my close friends, the filter between my brain and mouth completely shuts off.

Yep. Which is fine if it's just us. It's when it spill over into public settings that it causes a problem.

How does public speaking frick up your GPA? Is it a required course? As long as you don't forget what to say and you don't ramble, it's kind of a dick move for a professor to give you a hard time in a class like that. Public speaking is either something you are good at or you aren't. If you are good at it, you can perfect it. If you aren't, the best you can hope for is to get to a point where you sound confident and not retarded.

I'm exactly the same. And that's not always a good thing.

And yes - Mr. Big. And Detective Stabler.

Sammy, were there any comments on why you were graded so low? Or did you maybe pick a topic the professor didn't like and they held it against you? Yes, I know that's BS, but we all know it happens.

Same for me. One of my real good friends brought his gf around me when they first started dating and I was very drunk that night and apparently she thought I was a complete a-hole. That was almost 3 years ago and were good friends and theyre engaged but she recently told me how she hated me initially but now loves me.

Half the class dropped after the first speech. I stuck with it because I did ok on the first one. Now it's too late to drop and my grade is fricked. And yes it's required for everyone attending Auburn.

I have absolutely no idea who is better looking: Chris Noth or Christopher Meloni

I used to be very... ummm... vocal about my displeasure in public settings. I can't help it. It's the Yankee in me.

The boyfriend gets very upset when I exhibit that kind of behavior in public, so I've become quite aware of it, and cut back a lot.

I don't think you can go wrong there. I'd take Christopher Meloni though, personally.

I am addicted to HGTV.

I can't bring myself to not be perfectly cordial to a stranger unless they really do something to piss me off.

Noth. I'm partial though. SATC is possibly my favorite show ever.
