my 8 year old autistic daughter has had lice twice in the last 3 years
nothing short of 2 or 3 trips to the head lice place worked - very difficult to get her to sit still for the nit picking (the ONLY way to fix the problem is to pick all of the nits off the scalp)
it took 2 weeks the last time (about a year ago)
I was ready to shave her damn head, but the wife said NO

Growing up this was something I never encountered at school. Now it’s rampant at elementary schools. I think someone said this but ordinary treatment won’t kill super lice. I’m not sure what you have to do to kill super lice, but I’m sure you can research it on the internet.

Took us months to get rid of them for good when my daughter got them from her school. Treatment after treatment and combing for knits a couple times per day.
