We have not had any rain here in Franklin since late August.
Each day in September has been above 90 degrees. This will mark our hottest September on record.
Also, TT9, while I would agree with you about AGW (anthropogenic global warming), anomalies =/= proof. Poor argument, even if you are just kidding. It's akin to the right-wing dullards who say that snow in Florida discredits AGW.

Please. It's the south. It's still summer. I've heard old timers say this is the time of year when were chewing dust. There's a saying from a hundred years ago "in Mississippi, it stays 100 degrees 2 months of the year, the rest of the time its 90 in the shade".
