You'd probably like 3 gun, it's pretty fun.

The law just means you have to buy your guns illegally.

Actaully here in TX I can posses a firearm in my home and can hunt I just can't transport the rifle to the hunt. The Feds don't agree but as long as I don't walk around with one of my pistols they will ignore the fact I have them unless they just want to be dicks.

Which seems to be exactly what you would want an individual to have when someone breaks into their house.

So, how do they define transport?
Can you be in the car with your gun as long as you aren't driving?

It's okay, gangs won't be allowed to have those guns either.

If I understand it correctly, I can't be alone in the vehicle and it must be in a non accessible area, but that is how I read it so to be safe I travel in a completely separate vehicle.

Don't take that approach. That "criminals gonna be criminals" ignorant spat. That's like saying "terrorists are going to be terrorists," like we can't prevent what will happen.
Will it be perfect? heck no. But it shouldn't detract from the goal.

RG,
I heard about these on the radio recently and was curious of your opinion.
Alternative Ballistics
It's basically a condom you put on the tip of your gun to fire a soft shot.
they said they've sold to numerous police departments, but never had one fired in the line of duty.

I haven't seen that before.
I don't know how to feel about it honestly. Looks odd.

And your argument is akin to acknowledging that terrorists hijack planes, but that we should abolish the TSA anyway.

Your goal is to disarm law-abiding citizens. frick that.

No. My idea is to taking measures to prevent a certain event from happening. In fact, my argument is like upping the ante of the TSA.
The goal is to have a safer country. You are too busy looking at one tree to look at the forest.

And how does removing guns from people who will never break laws with them accomplish that?

And to what degree would one need to know guns in order to be a legit advocate for gun control in your opinion?
Knowing the actual definition of an assault rifle would be a good start.

Probably thinks this is a high powered rifle
When it's a shotgun

You want to add more scrutiny to our day to day lives?
IRS, FBI, NSA, ATF, TSA, EPA, FDA, CIA, Local Police, State Police and County Sherrifs. Sure, we need more people checking on what we are doing. Why don't you just move to Canada?
