the office won't lose heat.

And even if it does, the amount of monitors all over will keep it warm.

What did you get?

I just finished a Sprite.

Schools cancelled again tomorrow. They were going to do a two hour delay, I commented on the facebook post saying that they should either have school or not, and that delays are ignorant. A few hours later saw on the news it was cancelled

Today is “the day” here
Not that cold

What is it in NYC? 5 to 10 degrees is a damn heat wave for some today.

Are you working for a white shoe company?

I thought you worked on Wall Street?

Old firms were full of IVY kids and it stemmed from them wearing white bucks or tan "dirty" bucks in school. Translates to big, old east coast, traditional, conservative firms drawing their owners and employees from the old line establishment from say NYC, Philly, and Boston.

Here is a pic of white and dirty bucks

Do you see anybody at your firm who wears them?

I still see kids wearing them but probably more likely to be seen in the 50 and over set, so probably upper management in your shop

Yes
Yea we don't use that term, could ask the older folk that work here if they do, but even the guys in their 60s are being phased out, forced retirement and being replaced by guys in their 40s.

We like to say "bulge bank"
