such as the rutgers stuff. I dont like how they choose who to go after and who to protect as a golden child but that is the way "reporting" and journalism is now.

my best friends dad was at that game with his (my friends) older brother. they were about three rows from where the homer landed. that is THE moment for dodger fans

shite, I was still so hurt/stunned by the .4 Derek Fisher shot in '04 that I don't remember ANY of game 6 of that series. Remember game 5 in vivid detail up to the Timmy shot and Fisher shot, then nothing but pain and anguish

They are in business not a non profit.

They get the story right usually but they inject morality or their sense of it into it.

As for the Rutgers deal Eric Murdoch is a coward to me. Not because he reported it but because he didn't like what was done by a supervisor and did not follow the chain. I get he was not asked back, but why? That to me is a story.

As for Penn St. they did a great job as they let Millen and Blackledge give you insight.

Penn St (Paterno) did what was right legally but not morally. He had no control over a tenured appointment, that's what people forget.

i didn't really like how they let millen give joe pa a blow job on sportscenter but then again i dont like penn state at all.

I do understand its a business and they are doing what makes money. the real issue is most of society sucks and schap is fricking annoying

You whine about Bob Knight?

Why because he was a coach who didn't change? Miles Brand set him up and Knight is a great man, I know him and would send MJ to play for him.

my problem with ESPN isnt even that they create stories, hell all mega powerful news agencies do, but they choose who to go after. the go after this rutgers coach, but they go and hire ray lewis and bob knight to do analysis for them. if you ask people my age (20) i bet 80% have noooo idea about ray lewis's problems with the law

Yeah, totally blacked out that part from my mind.

My family was living overseas for the '03 and '04 seasons, so I just remember waking up at like 3 AM to watch the games, then being depressed and still having to go to school.

personally i love knight and how he didn't change. it is just funny espn hires him but then they make it out like the rutgers coach was penn stating or murdering players
