I’m getting downvoted pretty bad over on the other OT (which is fake AF). UPDATED (6).

The numbers aren’t big but they’re pretty strongly running against me (0 up, 8 down). I even have a reply to a comment by “Bobby OG Johnson” (FAKE arse NAME) that’s at like 0-3. I think replies should be judged independently of the post that started the controversy, don’t you?

Any old timers have tips on how to address a situation like this? It would mean more than anything to me to be more popular on the SEC Rant/Tiger Droppings. I know I’m already popular but it would feel so damn good to level up even more.

Here is what I posted, it was in the “Bring Us Your Memes 2021” thread. Note that *nowhere* did I say it’s a good, or wholesome, or well done meme.

UPDATE. It’s now at 0-20. This indicates to me that I should probably lay it on the Rant itself, like one might gently place a small turd “just so” in its spot.

UPDATE TWO. 0-30 (1-11) over there and it looks like this post is starting to generate its own (smaller yet unmistakably trending) set of downvotes, which disturbs me and I find it disappointing — including my rank out of Jackson below. I’m going to ask you fellas to think twice about this sort of behavior.

UPDATE THREE. 0-41 (1-14). I added another meme to the thread, this one about your dying mother. NOT DOING WELL.

UPDATE FOUR. As Little Jerry kindly noted below, the voting continues to worsen. 0-56 (1-21). I have decided to remake my TD persona into that of a hateful angel, avenging himself upon the site by posting ultrashit memes in that thread. You know, like AIDS jokes or those which contain no discernible humor, inscrutable Japanese-style stuff and such and such. Example of this is provided below the original, “controversial” “sperm wars” meme.

UPDATE FIVE. First upvote received! Pretty sure it was that beautiful son of a bitch paperwasp, as he himself recently posted a meme in that thread. THIS is the kind of thing that makes THIS OT a COMMNITY. We care about each other, we look after one another, circle of prayer, circle jerking, sending money to the poors who are regulars.

UPDATE SIX. I have been accused of ruining the “vibe” of the thread by “calcotron” (really great username, you dumb skank). I think some (you know the type I mean) over there are going to try to get me banned. If it appears the clampdown is nigh, I’ll be sure to let everyone here know what my new burner/troll account handle is. At least I will have my lady open up an account for herself so she can pass messages.
