Maybe Illinois will be an SEC program by the time he enrolls.

Lovie Smith won't be there by the time the kid is twelve

As an Illinois football fan I will say who cares. He's not going to go there. Until the state pulls their head out of their arse there might not be any public universities left in 8 years in this state.

They might as well start him. They suck

He'll hit puberty (or has) and get as big as he is going to get by the time he is 14. He will excel until everyone catches him at 16 or 17. Looks pretty special now but I think I would wait and see. Cool story, I guess. No one will remember this in 8 years (except the kid and family). Has Illinois had a coach stay there for 8 years recently?

Wow, if he gets a step on someone he's gone. Kid can run.
I agree that UI sucks for offering him. College football is getting insane. Kids should be left alone until their junior year in high school.

If they can get him into the strip club at 10, he'll be a lock.
