What do you gain from smoking other than a hole in your wallet, possible rotten teeth, cancer, and an increased responsibility to watch the people around you.

I agree completely. One of my gripes about smoking is how it is viewed in the work place. I don't smoke, never have. The people that I work with that do smoke will step outside about once every hour or so and smoke. This is seen as acceptable for some reason. Now if I were to just walk out of my office and just stand outside for 5+ minutes a few times each day I would get fired faster than you can say "double standard".

I'm 100% against the people who are inconsiderate of the people around them who don't smoke.
I mean, I have to piss to get through the day. But you don't see me pissing in public areas where piss could effect other people.

So much truth.
One day you should try it, and when you get bitched at just say, "Urrm, I'm going for a smoke break?" and see what happens.
Or that could be a horrible experiment that gets you fired. But then you have a lawsuit/story to sell to CNN.

There are pretty clearly designated smoking and non-smoking areas. But if I'm in a parking lot, far away from a building entrance and far away from others, if I get the angry stare down from one of you whiny pussies, I'm gonna blow smoke rings from my Cohiba in your children's faces.
