Normal situation when you’re just thirsty. Not exercising or working or anything like that

It's actually the opposite. If you need to drink water because you're overheated or dehydrated from exercise then you should drink room temperature water.

Room temp. I like to drink lots of water when I get thirsty. Ice cold h2o gives me brain freeze.
