I find the idea that we are alone in the universe, laughable

If our Galaxy is over 100,000 light years across, contains between 100-700 BILLION stars and countless planetary masses, is only ONE of over 100 BILLION galaxies in the observable universe, it's ridiculous to think that only Earth contains intelligent life.

I agree. Do you coast to coast am?
We cool now?

Most stars in our galaxy or any galaxy aren't capable of having habitable planets. I used to feel the same way you do but after years of books, videos, and sleeping in a holiday inn I have changed my opinion. We are all alone bro.

Again, there are 100 billion galaxies, with a septillian of stars, it's simply illogical to think we are alone.

I need to give you an update on the observable Universe. After Hubble did its Deep Field observation, the estimate for the number of galaxies in the observable Universe increased from 100 billion to 2 trillion.
If we consider the entire Universe, we can use the estimate that Alan Guth’s Inflation Theory provides. The number of galaxies in the entire Universe is 2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.

Even better, the size of the universe is inconceivable

Also, the number of earth-like planets in the Milky Way is estimated to be 33 billion. If our galaxy is average, this means that there are some 66,000,000,000,000 earth-like planets in the observable Universe and 66,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 in the entire Universe.

They don't have the SEC so we ARE special.
Because.....
It Just Means More.
On a more serious note, I think it is incredibly arrogant of those that believe we are the only intelligent life that exists. We're probably ALL the equivalent of Texag7 to them.

I believe it's endless. Which is something I can't wrap my head around either.
