I am really hating FEMA today

I got a letter stating I wasn't privileged for Katrina assistance and must repay it immediately.
I went through this 4 years and 2 years ago. I lost everything once I don't really want to remember this stuff again.

Tell FEMA to tell Obama to quit spending so much money and they wouldn't need you to pay back the money you used to have a place to live and food to eat while your home was under water.

I got a call from them in April of 2006 asking me if I wanted a FEMA trailer by my house. The lady was more than a little surprised when I'd informed her that I'd moved to Las Vegas before the storm.

The worst part of this is they state that my home was not considered a total loss, but until this letter it was total loss. The damn thing was gone and the only thing of mine left on the property was nothing.
A 30 ft Wave took out the house or maybe the 80+ mph winds. Idk but shite was gone.

I was 28 days in on owning home and they couldn't decide if wind or water caused damage.
FEMA is claiming I wasn't living at residence so any assistance given was fraud.
