How come cops like these hardly get punished, even with video evidence? NSFW

I guess if you say the victim/criminal is resisting arrest, it makes it ok to murder them or their dogs?

Absolute Truth of Life: If you run from the cops, especially sheriffs deputies, and make those fat boys sweat, you WILL catch a beating. Dont care if you are spread eagled on the ground waiting for cuffs. Make em sweat and you are gonna get an arse beating.

Cops, like all professions have people who behave poorly.

I do think that most of the caught on tape beatings would not happen if the person whom they are taking to/arresting would not resist or raise their voice or behave poorly toward the officers. Most can be avoided.

Let's think about this: has there ever been a time in history where a large group of people expected to be able to defy the authorities without consequences?

The answer to that question is no, not until recently.

Probably has more to do with the fact that innocent people have no reason to run.

So explain to me how that one guy who just wrecked his car and was trying to get out of the wreckage and the cop just shoots him, execution style. How was this warranted again? Or you are of the mindset if a cop shots and kills you, then it is always justified since the cop can do no wrong?

How can you cop defenders defend the cop who executed the two dogs in the ditch, who were not attacking or even trying to harm the cop. These cops are scum and you frickers who try and defend their actions are even worse. **Note I'm talking about cops like in these videos and those mentioned all in the news who continue to live above the law murdering people and animals.

Man it's cops and robbers. It's the fricking robber's job to run and the damn cop's job to chase and catch them. Catching a beating because you run is bullshite.

I can post as many videos as you care to watch of innocent people being abused by police.

Running from Police is a logical response in this day of "comply or die and sometimes die anyway."

IDK, many years ago in my youthful indiscretions I was witness to people running from Cops on the reg.

Can't recall a single person ever getting caught...

First off, the dogs getting shot upset me the most. Secondly, I know the majority of cops are dumb and of a lower character than I would like to deal with, and the costs of defending yourself if arrested are astronomical, so I do everything in my power to have no dealings with them (which means not doing anything to get arrested).

With that said, this country does need a higher standard of law enforcement. They should be more emotionally stable than the criminals they're trying to catch and have a "serve and protect" attitude, not an abuse and destroy one. Far too many times do these guys choose the lethal option when countless other solutions were available.

Yeah, me too.

Shoot my dog, on my property, I'm gonna shoot you. No excuses. Dog belongs here, you don't.

Happens all too often and the Cops get away with it.

Shoot my dog ... the next bang you will hear is the one coming from me shooting you - I don't care who you are.

We rescue a lot of dogs. I was told by the head of the animal rescue here that over 8,000 dogs a year are shot and killed by LEOs in this country. It's outta hand. Often it's the family pet just coming to greet the officer on the family property ...

Police can shoot your dog for no reason.

Why are police shooting so many family dogs?

Go look at that last link I posted above .... plenty of shootings happen, killing of family pets, for no reason.

Officers can come in your yard and kill your pet for no reason. None. All they have to do is believe the dog was coming at them for whatever ... doesn't matter, they shoot first.

It's outta hand ... it's outta hand and it is a national epidemic.

It's gotta stop. It's been going-on for too long now and they've been getting away with it. The most they ever get is a citation issued for cruelty to an animal ... pay a small fine, then they are back on duty to do it again.

They need to start losing their jobs and going to jail for it.

If a dog attacks outside the property ... sure, I can see it. But if the dog is on their property and the officer comes on the property and shoots the animal for no reason other than them claiming they were looking for someone or they were on the wrong property or whatever ... no excuses.

There as a video not long ago of the cops serving a no-knock warrant on the wrong house ... busted down the doors and the dogs were shot with the kids looking on in their beds.

The shite has gotten outta hand. It's gotta stop.

Finally, something we can agree on. I love my dog. He's my little four-legged buddy. He's a family member.

A cop storming my house and killing my little dog would be devastating to me. He's very friendly and would never hurt anybody. People have strong bonds with their dogs and these cops don't seem to understand that. They just see some mutt who's in the way and put him/her down like it's no big deal.
