When I lived with my mom a long time ago we had one literally three doors down. I actually worked with him at a Pizza place and they used to say things like: "Just look him up" and eventually they just showed me when I seemed uninterested.
He was apparently busted for kid porn -- and his excuse was that he didn't know the person in the stills/video was underage. I just tried to avoid him altogether.

Not anymore, but I had a neighbor who was a college professor, apparently snapped and exposed himself on campus. Spent 2 months in jail, lost his cushy job.
Did it again and got another stint in jail. Moved away from me, and was in the paper about 2 months later for exposing himself in the town library.

Geez, guy just snapped and couldn’t help himself huh? Would be interesting to hear Dragonmaster’s psychiatric perspective on that kind of thing. Is it a sexual deviancy or a tick like Tourette’s?

Eight, eight offenders are in my hometown currently. And all are offenses against children
This confirms my fears of the trash moving out from Indianapolis to there. Some may have been there before, but all, I highly doubt. Urbanization will be the death of that town regardless of what the town council thinks.

Yeah-he’s about 800 feet from a local Catholic elementary school. That’s 700 feet too close per statute. I’ll check on all of this in the morning.

Don't care. The sex offender registry is awful when you consider some of the crimes that constitute having to register as one. Like, I don't care if a teacher that slept with a student lives next door to me. I don't care if someone that got busted pissing outside lives down the street from me. I don't think the Alabama tea bagger is a threat to society in any way.
