LeBron is an absolute athletic freak for his size, but skill wise give me MJ every damn day.
I also think the huge difference is that killer instinct MJ had, that LeBron sometimes seems to lack.

How can anybody say LeBron is NOT the best ever??

I was too young to remember watching Jordan before the 96 season, however I am sure that he lost in the playoffs a few times before making it to the finals.
The fact that Jordan didn't lose in the finals enhances his greatness, but the fact that LeBron played poorly does not completely destroy his.
There is also no way LeBron would have not made the cut on his JH basketball team. (I know that this is a stupid point but just trying to show how single events don't necessarily make or break the case for either).

That's kind of an urban legend. Jordan was never cut. LINK

I did see Jordan play, and yes he was good. But he only did two things, shot well and had good dunks.

Did you ever watch MJ?
He was the definition of clutch.
Do you recall the flu game?
Come on brah. Not only did MJ get six, but he did them back to back with a little baseball hiatus in the middle. It'd be 7 if he wouldn't have left.

I love how we try and compare a player in the middle of the prime of his career to a guy who has long since finished.
We're not even close to having this conversation yet.

I have said that numerous times so far. Nobody gave me any props.
ETA: maybe I just thought it, but it is what I meant when i said you can't compare hardware.

I'm just special. You can't expect to get the results I do.

Or the way LeBron did against the Celtics the preceding season.
If only the Cavs gave him more help.

Either you're a great troll or lying about watching MJ play

Very true. Or the way LeBron did against the Celtics the preceding season.
That being said, the Mavs lost might have been good for him. First off, that playoff series solidified to me that Carlisle is an incredible coach, the starting lineup and active roster and bench moves were all ridiculously questionable on paper, but they pulled it off. Dirk finally got the validation his career, but seems to be left out conversations and uncredited for being the only superstar on a Championship team, but whatever they can never take it away. Secondly, the point was made to me that LeBron never really challenged himself or got better until last year. Yeah he was ridiculous, and that 05 Eastern Conference Game 5 or 6 I can't remember against the Pistons? Off the wall. Still... He didn't play inside enough, and not until seeing him play last season or this season have I ever even given the Jordan comparisons much weight, but the level he is playing at is legendary. I mean he has to win 7 for me to consider it. O well. I will leave you with Mark Cuban schooling Skip Bayless, and an awesome picture.

I dont like a lot of the stuff Cuban does. I saw the show that day and started respecting him at that point.
