I never get extra cheese but I love their bean burritos. I swear they used to be twice the size and cost like 59 cents when I was in college but they still taste the same. Mmmm Mmmm
I could eat 3 in one sitting in college, plus a Meximelt.
Now I just get one every now and then for a snack or something if I'm close to a Bell. That's maybe once or twice a year.

Are you my mom? Because I just picked her some of these up a week or so ago
I haven't had gas station chicken livers in several years because they're not as ubiquitous as they used to be. Gas stations that sold them back in the day had that distinct smell as soon as you got out of the car that sent my Pavlovian response into overdrive.

Is it really a guilty pleasure if you have SC ties?
That would be like saying Ale 8 if you are from KY.

You are correct.
Arkansas was where I think I first had Taco Bell but it was either the late 60's or early 70's and they had not sold out to Pepsi. They were better then and the tacos were really good (actually looked like the ones in the ads). Both have been downsized as to what goes inside. I think the burritos used to have 4x, then they dropped to 2x, and now they have about 1/4 of what they used to have. Only way I found out is I got to know one of the managers and they eventually confessed to using smaller scoops to portion Taco Bell food.

RC and a moonpie on occasion is another guilty pleasure.

I stay in a hotel, I have the AC on and set at 62 no matter how cold it is outside.
I do close to the same (62 to 64)
I think it is several reasons
#1 They don't change the filters as often as they should (I have been know to di it myself)
#2 They don't refill the coolant as often as they should
#3 Adjacent units are hotter so you compensate so you don't wake up in the middle of the night in a heavy sweat.

I think it has to do with on site vs off site prep
More gas stations no longer make food onsite but "assemble" it from frozen parts shipped from elsewhere. It is why I no longer eat the breakfast sandwiches of any kind.

Red lobster cheddar biscuits. I bought the mix at this store and made some. I don’t even care, shits good.

I think now a high percentage of the ground beef is just oats and some kind of filler.

:kige:
Another alternative is using bisquick mix hot cheese that is the color of cheddar
Better than Red Lobster but more work

Somebody just got busted for their burgers being 50% soy when they were advertising 100% beef.

across the river a couple miles in Clarksville, Indiana actually
on the main road there with the Hooters and used to be O'Charley's, back when O'Charley's was awesome
this was in 2003 or 2004, when the Chinese place got shut down

1. Chicken in a biscuit crackers.
2. Listening to Elvis. Can’t turn off the car if he is mid song.
3. Rubbing one out while thinking of my sister in law.
4. Frosted Cherry Pop Tarts.
5. Diet Coke. (You all know that)
6. Watching old 80’s movies.
7. I lied about #3 but it made my list pretty interesting.

Cheerwine. I only drink soda on average four times a year but when I do..it’s cheerwine.
I collect Transformers. Started off wanting to replace my childhood collection then bought all the ones I always wanted and then started buying the Japanese ones. All in my office. My wife just shakes her head.
