My tinfoil hat is on, go ahead and drop some of that forbidden truth that THEY don't want us knowing.

The reasons we're headed for a cliff aren't hidden or forbidden truths. Quite the opposite.

misdirection is the problem

Unless you're a minority or female good luck with this.
I've been fighting the banks for over a year to get business loans and if you don't have a good bit of collateral already then it's pretty impossible. 5 years ago you could walk in with a decent business plan and get a loan pretty easily. Also it depends on how much you need.
I finally got approved to get started but it was with way less than I needed, but I can work a smaller amount of land and make a profit then use that as leverage next year to get the amount of farmland I want.

Over qualified! Why would they hire me
Honestly if you're competent you could probably skip the cashier part and go straight to being a manager and make decent money.

How about you get off your lazy arse and mow a few lawns and deliver some pizzas instead of looking to the government to solve your problems? Mother fricker, you mean to tell me you couldn't find a fricking Dominos or Papa John's or some grass to cut in the 73 weeks you've been living off of the hard work of the tax payers?
You think you're the first person who ever got laid off? I've been laid off by 3 different companies in my lifetime, you know how much I collected in unemployment? ZERO, ZILCH, NADA GODDAMN CENT. I found some work every time I looked for some, even if the only work available was cleaning shitty bathrooms at a gas station.
frick yourself with a cactus.
I lost my job a couple years ago and did day labor for $10 an hour until I found my current one.
Hell man companies like Walmart have a 94%+ turnover rate for employees hired within a year. You know why ? It is a shitty job.

I'm trying to bring awarness to how fricked up our politicans are compared to the rest of America. They get lifetime pensions, per diem to travel to work (2,200$), and insane amount in salary compared to the people they are representing. Yet the american people are out of touch with reality. Also our GDP is fricked, our national debt is fricked, they bail out these corporations, but not its people.
Most people with a brain realize that our politicians are in it for themselves and not the everyday people. They bail out corporations because corporations line their pockets.
The problem isn't the politicians, the problem is that there are more stupid people that vote for them over and over than there are people who realize what the problem is.

May consider grass cutting as well.
My dad has a friend who started out mowing grass with a push mower in High School and now makes 6 figures doing yard work in an Atlanta Suburb.

Delta, if you already have the land and it is cleancut you could farm pine on whatever you didn't need and then sell the timber tract. Idk if it would be cost effective and it'd take 5 years for the harvest. However you could bale the pine needles and sell for natural mulch. Those small square bales can go for 2-4$ each.

Like some people mentioned, you might just have to find a job working for around MW right now. I would suggest doing that until you can find a permanent job. I would also suggest if you have a mower finding a few yards to mow. I did this a couple summers ago while working a 8-5 job. I had 5 yards. They were not big yards, but I made enough profit to pay my Utilities plus some money to blow going out and shite.
Just throwing this out, try being a waiter somewhere. I know some places around here in Starkville were waiters/waitresses make pretty damn good money. My wife made 11k last year and only worked a couple nights a week.

It's a catfish farm. I'm bout to make 60k in 2 months just to hatch fish in the hatchery for another farm.
I'm also aiming to get 455 acres of ponds operating in the next 2 years. I can raise 13000 pounds of fish per acre on 360 water acres for a cost of .85 cents per pound. Fish prices are 1.15 per pound.

OP, I told you a few weeks ago that you would make my Smart Person List after a football related post I liked, with one condition, don't frick it up.
Now you've gone and fricked it up.
Some advice for you to chew on:
1: Have you ever wondered why so many people live in suburban Atlanta, overpay for houses, spend ridiculous amounts of their lives in traffic, and have a generally shitty quality of life? Because there are jobs there. Unless you have some real reason beyond your control to stay in middle Georgia, get the hell out of there if you want work. Go to Atlanta, or be poor.
2: Are you married? Does your wife work? What does she do?
3: Welders are in demand but like you said, you aren't actually a welder. You only have 2 years experience and only one type of welding. You aren't actually a welder. You kinda sorta know how to weld. You are on the same level of welding as every other Georgia redneck who dropped $79.99 at Harbor Freight. IE. not a welder. Stop thinking of yourself that way.
4: How old are you? I'm guessing you are 28, based on your posts in this topic. What is your education level? High School? GED? Some college? Any trade school stuff? Do you have any non-traditional educational merits like certifications with certain tools, materials, products, etc?
5: Do you have any physical disabilities, like a back problem, bum knee, blind in one eye, etc? Criminal record? Civil judgements from unpaid child support or car repo's or anything like that? What do you enjoy doing? Have you gotten your tax bill yet for spending your 401k like a moron?

IB freeman should read the email I got the other day discussing how the FDA caught 4 Vietnamese companies mislabeling fish. They were labeling it as a type of fish considered gourmet but actually putting a shitty fish in the box in order to increase profit margins. About 50 percent of US restaurants have mislabeled seafood due to this.
We also got the inspection program passed to move it to the USDA so by next year imports will be drastically reduced. They're having a lot of issues with imports right now their future looks bleak. Russia banned them and so did many EU countries. The US will likely do the same once they start inspecting them more rigorously
