Some special forces units are allowed to grow it out, but for the most part you're right.
You can have a moustache, but the military standard upper lip accessory is very similar to Adolf Hitler's moustache. Which is pretty much cultural tabboo. So not many people keep them. Lol
frickin Hitler was a bad enough guy that he single handedly ruined an entire branch of men's fashion.

Second, I've been in the room with a woman giving birth naturally. It's horrifying. But remember, the pain is only temporary and the amazing thing about child birth (and the human body) is that a woman isn't able to relive the pain once it's gone. It's like your body goes into preservation mode and actually builds a cocoon around the incident. Otherwise women wouldn't ever give birth for a second time if they could actually recall the pain.
Good luck with everything and remember to sit your arse down if you start feeling light headed. I went out on my feet with my youngest child during her birth. Lol.

I've never thought about it that way, but it must be true, or they would never have another one. But my wife will take the epidural. If I tried to tell her, "no," I would have an angry wife and mother in law. And I don't want her to have to go through that without pain meds, anyway.
A girl my wife knew in college had a child a few years back, and her husband told her that the pain of natural childbirth is God's way of punishing female's for Eve's betrayal. That's some fricked up shite.

I grew up helping cows give birth and helping with C sections on them when necessary. I hope I got this.

Long ago a ginger mechanic in our motor pool somehow finagled a permanent shaving profile for acne. He used to get tons of shite anytime he went around post. Only time I ever saw it.

Yea I know, he did have really bad acne but I'm guessing he got it the same way everybody gets bullshite profiles, doctor shopped and complained until he found a naive Soldier hugger.

I mean itd be nice to get bc sometimes its painfulful but i try to go at least a day and a half without shaving it usually helps but if i cant get ond ill suck it up lol

I'm surprised anyone is allowed a shaving profile to be honest. I had never heard of such a thing while I was serving.
We were always told that you couldn't keep facial hair because it renders a gas mask ineffective. You can't get an air tight seal with your mask if you have facial hair.
So some people essentially become useless soldiers because they have acne or shaving bumps? That shite would have been unacceptable in my unit.
