Why don't they provide a water source?
I've been "there" for simple misdemeanors and have begged for water each time.
What are they trying to accomplish other than dehydrating their occupants?
The food is not that bad. But, that is certainly according to your own tastes and the actual locale. I actually liked the dry eggs.
Any other "misdemeanor's" experiences are welcome as far as food critique is concerned.
Water would be nice to begin with though. A styrofoam "cup" of kool-aid every 4 hours is sad, at best.

Yes. Each time I was locked down for 23 hours per day. One small cup of koolaid 3 times per day.

That is bullshite.
They did that for me too.
I was given 72 hours in the tank because the "jail-house" was busy that weekend.
I had to beg for water.

For those not spending time in the county hotel if you find a lass with some mink handcuffs don't be afraid to get locked up.

3 and half days in Lee County
There was a little sink with a water fountain that was attached to the toilet.
The food was barely edible. My first night we had spaghetti and I took one bite and threw up. I couldn't eat anything until the second night when I was so hungry I had to.
It was extremely unsanitary too. I could feel myself getting sicker the longer i was in there. That I believe had to do with the way they assigned you one plastic cup and one plastic spork upon intake. But when an inmate leaves, all they do is throw those in a bucket of disinfectant water, which who knows how long it's been since that water was changed, and then when the next inmate comes in they just reach in and grab it and hand them straight to you. Pretty sure i ended up with a bad case of strep from that.

I can only hope this was for something appropriately awesome, like public indecency at the 50 yard line of Bryant-Denny Stadium.

I was on probation for weed and had it revoked after being arrested for drunk in public and minor in possession of alcohol in the student section of Jordan-Hare

It depends upon the situation your Highnesses.
I had unlimited beer after not ever being allowed to drink, had naked women in our fraternity that night, and was asked to drive someone home in the early morning due to me having manners.
I found out that night that I was not a great drunk driver.
Kill me.
I like naked women and alcohol it seems.
I also like engineering and money that provides a comfortable living in life no matter what I did that particular moment in life.
What I didn't like was the water situation. Inhumane is inhumane.

1 night in the drunk tank for public intoxication. Booked in there around 12:30 in the morning, and they released me around 8. I don't remember the water situation being bad. I was in there with a few frat boys that got popped for minor in possession and we just shot the shite most of the night.

Same.
Some meth-heads and "want-to be" gang members came in and wouldn't shut up about their "connection" [their Mom] coming in to provide their drug money for release.
The "Meth People" had my undivided attention as far as "kill you in your sleep" experience.
Still not so bad. I just wanted a cup of water at the end of the night and it was more of a "drink out of the thing above the toilet...that had no plumbing or water-pressure to begin with" conundrum.

Gross.
I believe it.
The officers were nice though.
It was cold as frick, but the stank-laden wool blankets really dampened the 45 degree internal temperature whilst also serving as a pillow and/or concrete mattress floor shield.

I'm not trashy, so no.
I stood up for my constitutional rights. Judge basically said she doesn't give an eff about the constitution.
