Back is still sore (I've been dealing with a back injury since last year, hopefully I just aggravated it and didn't reinjure it), gonna try to get to the doctor later today.

Neck is a little sore too, but otherwise I'm fine.

Didn't realize those trucks weigh between 60,000- 80,000 lbs.

Guy said he was hauling 8,000 gallons, I was really lucky it wasn't much worse than it was.

Dude had a 1% tattoo on his forearm, not sure which club he's with, but you don't display that tattoo unless you've earned it.

Find out if the company he works for is loaded and then blame every health problem you have, will have, or have ever had on the accident.

Glad to hear you are still with us. Living where I do I see a ton of 18 wheeler accidents and they can get very ugly.

Not sure the weight of a gallon of gas, but a gallon of water weighs 8 pounds.

8,000 x 8 = 64,000 pounds on load.

That's 32 tons.

Yeah, you're lucky.

nice sized operation. Bet they're carrying at least 20M in umbrella limits. Probably more like 50M.

Looks like insurer is Crum and Forester. I like those guys. Don't hammer em too hard, V&S. Kidding...frick insurance companies.

I think gasoline is slightly lighter than water, like 6lbs per gallon or something, but then you got the truck itself, plus the tank which has heavy duty space dividers to keep the gasoline stable during transport.

Yeah, they don't have to hit you hard, just a tap can frick you up.

So how does an insurance guy sue another insurance company? Won't that get you blackballed? Or is the truck with your company and you have to serve him?

I work in life and health, a car accident falls into the category of property and casual.

Yeah I'm familiar with the 1%ers. My uncle has his patch, member of the Outlaws. Not a guy to be messed with.

Like I said, unless they're an idiot with a death wish, nobody displays that tattoo unless they earned it.

His insurance will pay and subrogate vs their insurance. Has nothing to do with his job even if he were a casualty broker.
