Okay I forgive you.

It's terrifying that anyone would allow you anywhere near their children

Nah. Hiding your agenda would have diluted the entertainment value of the first couple of pages.
You are free to believe as you want, but your continued amazement that people aren't in agreement with you speaks volumes.
Carry on.

Apparently not. Care to try again or just call it quits and have me forget you?

If you're merely paying income taxes on the salary you get from a church, you are not a business. You are not obligated to perform weddings for anyone. You and your church can pick and choose, freely, who can be married, with you as the presiding minister, there. This is protected by the Constitution.

No, they can not! This is not similar to the bakers, wedding planners, printers, florists, etc. who operate registered businesses for the market place at large. They do have to offer their services/products to everyone.

Because you are clearly a bigoted, immoral a-hole

Again, I'm with you, but in the court of public opinion they have more jurisdiction than that, and it's an issue most me and my collegues try to avoid despite how we personally feel. We just don't need the attention. My church would expect a hard stance of put in that situation and I'd be obligated to give them one.

Gotcha. I'll never remember you or your opinion again. I hope you have God, because you no longer have my attention.

Well, public opinion does not equate to law but I think I understand what you're saying.
For example, a few years ago an Africa American couple in Mississippi were not allowed to marry in their own church because a few congregants objected. That caused national outrage. LINK
While Americans now favor gay rights, including marriage, I don't think gay people are anywhere near the level of African Americans in public opinion. I could be wrong but many churches still don't even accept gay people, so same sex marriage is not even considered.

Matthew 19:23-24New International Version (NIV)
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
Jesus spoke a lot more on greed than he did homosexuality. Have you divested yourself of worldly possessions and devoted yourself to the poor as he asked?

I may or may not do a lot for the poor in my community, which is between me and God. And I'm not rich. So where am I in violation of this verse? Or were you saying, well I don't know. What were you saying?
Unlike some, I actually believe what the book says and actually do it instead of blur the lines and make excuses like my friend's wife. And there's a lot better verses in the bible than Matthew 19:23-24 to tell you how to properly take care of a poor person.
