Do you consider forums an addiction?

Ever waste hours of your day posting back and forth, neglecting your own hobbies or even your work?

I have struggled with this kind of behavior in the past. I admit to you I was outright addicted to posting on forums for two years.

Not as much as I should. Hardly around anymore. Life keeps me busy for the most part.

My wife hates it. She used to come up to me thinking i was looking at porn and be ready to get all frisky and i would go along with it. Now she walks up and get pissed when she sees that its just the Rant.

Not really. When I come on here its when I'm taking a break and there are only so many podcasts you can listen too after all. So, if I have a half hour to kill foraging around the site is about as good a way to spend that time as any.

Strangely, I find I come here second only to twitter, when I want to read about current events and politics. It's an interesting site and an interesting mix of personalities.

A forum of mostly southerners, discussing a wide variety of topics.
