Never had an alter on any site. Seem silly to me, but whatever floats people's boats, I guess.

Don’t you use the same handle, or variations of it, across the internet? You’re in a different generation of internet, people didn’t used to think like that, they’d especially not want to link their IRL identities to their online personas. Not shitting on you, it’s just a different approach. Alters stem from the one with which you’ve already said you’re unfamilliar.

I have a previous account that I used for several years before taking a short break and then deciding to start fresh with this account. I haven't posted with it in almost 8 years, and believe it or not, do not have any alters I post with.
I created one named Navin to start a Help thread a while back. Mostly because LA banned me with a message that called me a "real jerk."
I also had one the first time I got banned from the Poli board, but only used it on that board.
Both of those accounts have been given the "stick to one account" death message and are no longer active.
ETA: I did just get suspended from Twitter for 12 hours for calling some UCF fan a retard, though. So I'm considering creating an extra Twitter account to call @Twitter a retard.

No I mean I'm familiar with the approach, it just never did anything for me, even when I strove to be semi-anonymous.

It hasn’t been confirmed from what I can tell. People said TexAg7’s post history seems to match and jive well with the way Daniel has behaved but that would be a judgement call someone who knows both would have to make. After the initial accusation it just became a meme.
