Do Bull Terriers actually kill bulls?

I've always heard folks say bull terriers kill bulls/cows. I have noticed that both of these bull terriers will try their darndest to catch one if they ever see one in my pasture.

Well, bull dogs in general. They will bite the bulls nose/face and latch on. Their strong jaws hold them on the bull as the bull tries to sling them off.

Man the bull in this place is in need of some of those terriers.
