Mine is working great and the added fan rotating has made our home very comfortable.

I am sending you a visual in hopes it helps.

Some a-hole turned ours off at the breaker before we moved into our new house. We didn’t realize it for like 3 weeks because we never needed it on

I change them monthly, arse hat. Freon needs a charge, or the unit needs to be replaced.

Then you have learned a valuable lesson: get your A/C serviced in the winter before it gets hot and repair companies are busy as hell.

This is what happens when you change your team logo to Auburn.

Hopefully this is your problem.

Had to replace a capacitor last year. Available at Lowes, amazon, etc.

Appreciate it, I was considering buying a freon kit (of course, I'd probably frick up the whole unit tho), but I'll hold off until the repair guy gets here.

My upstairs one is out as well. This after getting it fixed(new coils) 2 months ago. Hoping it's just the capacitor. Fan inside comes on, but the outside fan does not.

My main level one is working fine though, so I slept comfortably last night.

As someone who actually is an HVAC technician I urge all of you to not try doing anything yourself. You can change filters and wash the condenser but other than that please consult a company you trust. You can ask me about anything you’d like as well.
