Any baws in the area that can give me the best places to go with my family? 2 kids around 10 and a 2 year old. We’ll be out there a couple of days this weekend.

ETA: Sorry, forgot about the travel board, I’ll RA to get it moved

Kids, not sure. Last time I was there went to the JFK site and the Book Museum. Was really cool to see.

Maybe Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine. It's an indoor water park / resort.

I'm Dallas based and we really have everything. Anything specific you're looking to see?

The Dallas Zoo
Kids love feeding the giraffes.

The Dallas World Aquarium
Nice option if the weather is bad.

Perot Museum of Nature and Science
Lots of interactive exhibits your kids will enjoy.

Klyde Warren Park
Nice park within walking distance of the Perot.

Dallas Museum of Art
Nasher Sculpture Center
Will probably bore your kids to death, but they are within walking distance of the Perot.

Hey thanks! Just wanted to say, after looking at everything, we ended up going to the Perot museum and you were exactly right, it was perfect for the kids, and I really enjoyed it as well. My biggest regret was not getting there earlier. We ended up only having 3 hours and still didn’t really get to do all we wanted. The human exhibit with all the interactive things was amazing.

A friend that used to live in Ft Worth said their zoo was better than Dallas, so we ended up going over there and it was pretty great, even with the big cat exhibit not being open yet. The Texas side of it was actually the best part (aside from the giraffe feeding of course, lol)

Thanks for the help, it was greatly appreciated!

Avoid 635 at all costs but especially after 8 pm.... one lane traffic for miles last weekend. lots of construction.

Grapevine Mills mall area has a ton of stuff to do.
Not from there but have family in the area so I'm out there more than I really care to be.
