It was the Aggie war. He dropped a nuke of a post against them, and then had some privileges stripped away.

He couldn't have an avatar, sig images, and maybe some other stuff. There was a TD Help Board thread about it that I was in. It was about a month ago or so, so I might not be able to find it.
