Clothing question while losing weight

I've currently lost about 80 lbs and need advice on how to affordably get clothes since I plan on continuing my weight loss journey.
Things are tight on the money, but I'd like to have some pants that I don't have to keep pulling up. I am also starting a new job and want to look less like a slob because I feel that I do most of the time. I'm worried Good Will or thrifting wouldn't have sized that fit me because I am right at the 300lbs.
Any advice would be helpful. Any advice on styling staples is appreciated too. I kind of just miss feeling good about myself and I don't know how to dress and feel handsome in what I wear even with the weight loss.

seriously Walmart because after all the middle size guy stuff sells out, all you can find is "small" and "XXXL"

Thank you Harry

My wife and son go thrifting a lot more than I do, but the times I have gone, they all seem to have a decent amount of clothing for the more husky among us.

Firstly, congratulations!
Losing weight like that is hard
and you have already lost a lot!
My dad always stuck to Goodwill
when he lost weight.
He would hit a few different locations.
Don’t let it deter you.
I think if you can’t find anything there then
Walmart can be good option.
Know that while you’re still actively
no clothes are permanent.

Go to a Plato's closet, sell old clothes and use money to buy cheap clothing there. They might even be inclined to do a straight up trade.
Can't beat a quality pair of jeans and a nice button down/polo.

Congrats on the weight loss ... I lost 100+ pounds last year. While going through sizes rapidly, I didn't have a problem getting used clothes (especially jeans). My go to was Facebook Marketplace. I could type in the size and see what they had as opposed hunting through the racks at a Thrift store. I also used FB Marketplace to sell clothes that were too big. Make a little cash on old clothes and use for smaller sizes.

I'm currently wearing a pair of Goodwill slacks & have 2 others in the regular work rotation. Got several shirts & athletic shorts as well. Fwiw I work in finance and get plenty of compliments, nobody ever knows it's cheap stuff.
As others have mentioned, try a few different thrift shops & be willing to go every week or two. I'm a theatre guy so I go anyways for costumes, makes it fun & you can usually find a few normal things worth wearing in the process.
Be open to trying several different sizes. I wear an L but have found good styles in M, XL, and even XXL. It's all about the fit, if you dont like the way it looks then put it back. Don't just fill your wardrobe with "passable" shite, keep going until you find something that makes you feel GOOD. Best of luck & congrats on the weight loss.

I swear, I feel like I know some of y'all at this point and I still can't tell sometimes if you're being serious or just bullshitting.
Either old age or this place or some combination of the two have made me one skeptical, mistrusting son of a bitch, because I barely believe a word anybody says around here.
BTW, does anybody know if Diddlers is interning with Wolf Blitzer at CNN again this semester?

Serious
The older you get the harder it gets to take off.
Also, after 40 or 50 God pranks you by taking muscle mass before fat.

Coffee and cigarettes all day until dinner, when I can eat. Then I can eat as much of whatever I want for that meal.
I’m not saying it’s healthy but man it’s shedding
This diet saw me through college when I stayed steady around 150.lbs, the girl I dated for a couple of years during those years seemed attracted to me.
I usually eat dinner about 6 Eastern

‘grats bro. What you need to do is scope out a target. Neighbor, coworker, church mate, etc that fits your desirable body size.
Monitor their work patterns, comings and goings. Everyone has patterns. Timing is key.
Burglary.
Or you could just make more money and buy some new threads.

For the new job try extension waist slacks that will fit a big through smaller size before being replaced. You can also get an elastic belt with a magnetic buckle that looks nice . Darker jeans with stretch fabric. For the fall get a white and a blue button down and a grey and a black golf vest. Two striped polo that match the vests.
Just those two pants four shirts and two vests mixed- matched should help get you through the next six months and to the spring before you need smaller summer things again. By then you can reward yourself with new stuff.
