Hunger striker is a hero at Mizzou.
Serious question...since one or two posters in this thread seem to think that this whole shitstorm could happen at any SEC school:
If this did happen at your school...kid going on a hunger strike because he felt racism on your campus...how would he be received by the majority of the student body once it was learned his family was worth $20M?

It's not being received well by the Mizzou fanbase in case you hadn't noticed.

Travis has a law degree from Vandy, I doubt he would open himself up to scrutiny on this. Butler is from Omaha, wonder if his dad is tied to Warren Buffet?

A hero to the minority. Majority of the people in CoMo think this dude is full of shite. A ton of the big donors are pulling their donations.

FWIW, the guy's dad's name is Eric Butler. There is an EVP at Union Pacific named Eric Butler

And would presumably be around the age of this guy's father. However, I have no way to verify. This says he has a son named Jonathan though
Yep. This is his Dad helping him in the car.

I would kick everyone off the team. They are complete nutjobs to fall for this BS.
THIS WAS FOMENTED BY PROFESSORS.
true, the problem is they could protest the rest of their lives and until the idiots on the football team and Pinkel backed the protest, it wouldn't really matter at all.
check out pinkels radio interview and him trying to explain how he wasn't really for any of it..

he's a fricking mess.

I know. Most Mizzou students happen to also be Mizzou fans though. Crazy thing, that is.
You should swing by this thread too since you're such fun.

is his mom white and his dad black?
maybe call his book "Dreams of My Rich Corporate Interracial Parents" or something, I'm sure Soros or Bill Ayers can turn this guy into a "real leader"...

Yep, 100% positive. I also was able to find him on facebook. Search "Pastor Eric Butler"... His cover photo has Jonathan in it.... Good work gang!

My favorite thing Travis said today and I'm not a fan of Travis.

And here's another thing, right now in the Big Ten offices they have to all be sitting around watching this news, laughing and high fiving each other saying over and over again, "Thank God the SEC got Missouri."

No way in hell that dude was actually going to die. He was probably sneaking food.
MU seemed like it needed some change at the top, sure. So this protest probably did some good. But I'm glad it's also getting recognized for the sham that it is, as well.

My boss donates around $80,000/annually. I'm just going off what she said was the word around town, so take that with a grain of salt.

Might I suggest updating OP, lest ranters be reduced to citing Clay Travis.
